Representative Porter moved and asked unanimous consent that the               
House consider the Senate message (page 3194) on the following at              
this time:

"An Act establishing the Joint Committee on Military Bases in                 
Alaska; and providing for an effective date."

There being no objection, it was so ordered.                                   
                                                                               
Representative Porter moved that the House concur in the Senate                
amendment  to CSHB 356(FIN) am, thus  adopting CSHB 356(FIN)                   
am S, and recommended that the members vote yes.                               
                                                                               
Representative Barnes rose to a point of order regarding improper              
reference to the other body.
